Work
This is a preview into some of my work and experience. I would love to talk you more about these projects.
Human Resources | Vision Creation
Vision for Employee Growth Platform
Sometimes the opportunity is bigger than the initial problem. I led a cross-functional team of strategists, designers, and technical product managers, turning an initial ask to visually refresh an internal career site into a broader opportunity to design a platform that truly supported employees in their growth. We designed personalized career hubs, resume analysis tools, and clear pathways for growth, which sparked excitement from stakeholders and executives. I enjoyed presenting the vision to leadership and watching them lean in, asking how quickly they could make parts of it real. We delivered a North Star vision and actionable roadmap, and built an executive case to pursue funding for an MVP.
Financial Services | Workshop Facilitation
Reimagining the Gift Giving Experience
What started as a straightforward request to design a premium gift card soon turned into something much bigger, reimagining the full gift giving experience. I guided research, synthesis, and a multi-day design thinking workshop with cross-functional teams. We explored everything from customizable cards and sustainable materials to playful digital integrations. One of my favorite moments was when a team member suggested that even a teddy bear could become a gift card or form of payment. You could see the wheels turning as people lit up and started imagining new possibilities. That spark captured what the essence of the project, shifting the client’s perspective from simple transactions to boundless potential through a human-centered lens.
Emerging Technology | Strategy & Design
Digital Twin of Home
What if your home could tell you when something was wrong? What if a leak inside the wall was repaired before it became a costly problem? I worked with technologists to create a concept demonstration showing how a digital twin could be used in a home setting to make life easier. Tell you how the home is consuming electricity - check. Show you the best spot for your plants - check. Alert you to invisible water damage - check. I designed the visuals that brought these scenarios to life and made the technology feel tangible. I enjoy finding ways to humanize technology, turning an abstract concept into something practical, approachable, and easy for people to see the value in.
Consumer Goods | Product Development
Expanding Kleenex into Facial Cleansing
As a product developer on Kleenex® Facial Cleansing Wipes, I helped the brand step into the personal care space in a new and innovative way. I collaborated across R&D, marketing, and manufacturing to test, gather feedback, and guide our launch. I learned a lot about commercialization and manufacturing, including the fact that I practically lived in steel-toe boots during the process. Some of my favorite moments were prototyping new product types, sitting behind the glass in focus groups, and talking to people on the manufacturing floor, hearing their stories and passion for the product. Bringing this product to market was a fun and interesting project.
Welding | Immersive Research
Inside the Welding Hood
Great design starts by understanding someone else’s world. I led an immersive research experience that put product developers into welders’ shoes, giving them firsthand exposure to the environment and mindset of the welders using our products. That perspective helped the team build empathy and directly informed the design of welding helmets and other personal protective equipment.
Social Impact | Service Design
Live, Learn, L'veate
Our goal was to support STEP, an education program in rural L'veate Cambodia, in creating a sustainable source of funding. We spent time in the community, shadowing daily routines, and learning from teachers about their challenges and hopes. One insight stood out, practicing English with native speakers was rare, yet it was one of the most valuable skills for unlocking future opportunities. We created a service business that gave travelers an authentic cultural experience while giving children the chance to practice English with native speakers. Proceeds supported teachers, school supplies, and future initiatives, building cultural connection with long-term educational impact.
Education | Co-creation
Pi High Math Board Game
How often do we hear kids ask, “Why am I learning this? When will I ever use it?” Pi High is a math board game for 4th–6th graders to help students see the relevance of math in everyday life. I worked with students, parents, teachers, and professional game designers, grounding the project in extensive research and a co-creative prototyping and testing process. Every time kids play, they are architects, building their own school with blueprint cards that teach geometry. They answer math questions in each subject, earn extra points for teamwork, and never play the same game twice. The game transformed math into something playful, hand-ons, and relevant, giving students a way to see that math is everywhere around them.
